Consent Framework
Nobody reaches an account on this platform without individually accepting every clause resolved for their country of residence and country of citizenship. This page describes how that gate works and why it is built the way it is.
How the gate works
- —You select your country of residence and your country of citizenship before any other registration step.
- —The system resolves a global baseline pack plus every jurisdiction pack that applies to either country.
- —Each clause is presented separately, in full, with its own checkbox. There is no single 'I agree to everything' control.
- —Registration cannot proceed until every clause is individually accepted. The control stays disabled, and the server refuses the request independently if any clause is missing.
- —Each acceptance is written to an immutable record with the clause key, a hash of the exact wording shown, the pack version, the timestamp, the address it came from and the resolved jurisdictions.
Why the wording is hashed
Consent is only meaningful if it can be shown what was actually consented to. Storing a hash of the clause body means that if wording later changes, we can still prove which version a given person accepted, and we can require re-acceptance where a change materially alters scope.
Jurisdiction packs
The baseline covers age, responsibility for one's own law, the intermediary position, the bounded nature of what is traded, written scope, the no-circumvention covenant, absolute prohibitions, the default refusal of AI training and synthetic generation, verification and record-keeping, the audit trail, and the absence of legal advice.
Overlays add jurisdiction-specific requirements — explicit consent for biometric or special-category data, transparency and labelling obligations for synthetic media, separate consent for cross-border transfer, statutory rights notices, and local formalities for the commercial use of a portrait or voice.
Withdrawal
Consent to the processing of facial and voice data may be withdrawn at any time from account settings, with effect for the future. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing already carried out, and does not retroactively cancel concluded licences — a limitation that is stated before consent is given, not after.
